Think Good Thoughts

Updated: Mar 3

If you were to take inventory of all aspects of your life, are you genuinely happy with your results?

The media holds us to some pretty high standards whether it be how we look, the definition of success, and what defines our happiness. We fall victim to what society tells us what our lives should look like. Very often we want to place blame on others for our current circumstances, but the truth is, it all comes down to you. All the events that you have experienced in your life once started from a thought.

How we see ourselves, the words that we silently speak thousands of times throughout the day, are responsible for all the results that you are getting in your life. If there are areas of your life that you aren’t happy with, only you have the ability to change it. Your relationships, your career, your health are all a direct reflection of the thoughts that you think.

You may think that it’s a pretty farfetched idea that where you are right in this moment was once a thought. We are conditioned from the moment that we are born. As a baby, we are sponges absorbing all the information around us until we are small children. Thereafter, we gather information environmentally through our five senses - the things we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell. This might include the things like what we hear on tv, what our family and friends tell us or what we read in the paper.

We have the ability to accept or reject any idea that is presented to us. Once we accept something as the truth into our subconscious mind, whether it’s a negative idea or a positive idea, our body responds to those ideas. If it’s a negative idea, our body responds on a level of worry, doubt, and fear. If it’s a positive idea, your body responds in a positive way that leads to overall general well being. You can tell what your point of attraction is by how you are feeling in any given moment.

What you choose to believe will become true for you. What you are thinking and speaking in the present moment is creating your future for tomorrow, next week, next month and so on.

Stop for a moment and consider your thoughts right now. Are they positive thoughts or are they negative thoughts? Do you want your current thought to be creating your future?

Being aware of the things that you think and say allows you to take control over all the aspects of your life and the results that you are getting. This mental housecleaning is important because we are forever in a constant state of creation.

Think good thoughts!
